Do you think the current laws that severely limit reelection are effective when it comes to prevent that too much power falls into the hands of one person?

Of course it prevents Porfirian-style abuses, but the PRI era has shown that even without reelection a very oppressive system can exist. Also it prevents politicians from being verdicted by the people. If a politician doesn't have a chance to get reelected he doesn't have any reasons to behave himself. Giving politicans the possibily to get reelected may make them less corrupt and more democratic.
